Our sidewalk was recently repaired by your contractor, Quantam Contracting. We have
been very satisfied with their work, however we just discovered that one of their stakes
was driven through our sprinkler pipe. The contractor most likely never knew he had
broken the pipe.
Enclosed is a copy of our invoice for repair work totaling $78.87. I believe the work
done was at a fair price, and hoped that perhaps the city would reimburse us for at least
half of the repair cost.
I might add that we had just had maintenance work done on the system so that all would
be running well for the coming summer. This work was done just prior the sidewalk
construction, so I'm confident that the pipe was broken during the construction of the
sidewalk.
