TRANSPORTATION: Sandy Lake Road is a two-lane asphalt mad within a variable-width
right-of-way, shown on the thoroughfare plan as a C4D four-lane
divided collector street to be built within a 110'-wide right-of-way.
Moore Road is a C2U two-lane undivided collector street built to
standard within a 60'-wide right-of-way.

DISCUSSION: The planning staff has recommended denial of the applicant's request for a
special use permit in the zoning case for the same property. If the zoning is not
likely to be in place to enable the proposed site development, it is unlikely that
a plat for the property with firelanes and easements as delineated will ever be
recorded.
RECOMMENDATION TO THE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION:
Staff recommends disapproval of the prelinfinaxy plat until such time as proper
zoning is in place.
