Dear Mr. Young:
The PM/E has found your 65% submittal not reviewable for lack of completeness. The following are
the ~ssues that must be addressed before the documents can be submitted for review.
, The intersection Layout Sheets must have proposed contours shown. This is especially
critical behind the back of curb. The reviewer must be able to determine that the
improvement ends appropriately at the existing condition.
- The pavement to be added is currently indicated by "cross-hatching". This use of a pattern
makes the contours very difficult to read. Please use "shading" or a "screening" technique to
indicate pavement to be added.
- Bench marks and horizontal control must be called out.
At the notice to proceed meeting, it was indicated that the 65% submittal must include traffic signal
design. It was also indicated that in order for this podion of the design to be reviewable, it would
have to approximate 95% complete. The plans submitted by you, although complete enough for
review, do not meet the level of design envisioned in the 65% submittal. The following are items
which will be required in your Pre-Final (95%) submittal. This is not an all inclusive review list.
