RE: Crosswalk
Dear Ms. Simmons:
Thank you for your call on Thursday regarding the crosswalk. Signs have been ordered for the
crosswalk, and installation should start next week. Once again, this will be an unmanned
crosswalk, since the City of Coppell does not supply crossing guards.
Another point, you asked for stricter speed enforcement on MacArthur Boulevard. I have asked
our Traffic Division of the Coppell Police Department to concentrate on MacArthur between
Sandy Lake and Belt Line to assist you in your efforts of making that a safe crossing area.
