Dear Mr. Canssler:
This letter is to serve as a reminder that the City of Coppell's Floodplain Management Ordinance
No. 94639, Article 5 Section CT/requires a permanent bench mark be provided. It states "When
any part of a subdivision lies within or adjacent to the 100 year floodplain, a permanent bench mark
tied to a designated National Geodetic Vertical Datum marker shall be established within the
subdivision at an accessible location. The bench mark and tie shall be located and referenced with
all pertinent information on the final plat along with a registered public surveyor's seal."
