RE: Shadow Woods Estates / Rear Yard Drainage along Oak Grove Lane
Dear Mr. Daniel:
We have been working with you and others; Mike Garrett being the
last one, regarding your accommodation of subject drainage. Shohre
and I have spoken together with you here in our offices during
Christmas week. Shohre spoke with you last week on the RCP
alterative and both she and I spoke with Mike Garrett this morning.
We have been trying to secure enough information on the design and
functioning of the proposed french drain, not a City of Coppell
standard. Ail you have furnished us for references is the
supplier.
We have asked you to provide preliminary design and comment on the
alternative design of draining those back yards through "Standard
Design" We can assume no added responsibility on any design you
submit and if there is a significant difference in grade, there are
alternative designs available such as guardrail, etc.
Please make the other submittal we have requested on another
design. We have requested a standard design draining to the newly
installed system to the west along the alley.
We at the same time asked Mike Garrett for references from other
municipal users on the french drain application. We have not
received those references. We also told Mike Garrett if there is
a need for easements, we can process it with the rest of your
easements for the City Counci.1 meeting of January 23, 1990. If you
get it to us before Wednesday, January 10, 1990.
