Request for Building Permit Prior to
Infrastructure Acceptance
Steve. Stolte has requested that building permits be issued for
subject lots prior to the completion and acceptance of the
infrastructure. He indicated that you requested a notification
from this department and the Fire Marshal.
As we understand, the Fire Marshal has requested a hard surface
access and city water be available.
As Larry Davis has indicated to the Developer's representatives,
we must have water and sewer systems in and backfilled, all in
compliance with approved construction drawings, etc. and no doubt
per the Fire Marshal's requests a hard all-weather surface is
required from the Coppell Road to each building/house for the
Shadow Woods Addition request.
As has been discussed, the other necessity is to have the concrete
street approaches to Coppell Road in place and cured out before any
house contractor access is permitted into the Shadow Woods
Addition.
Therefore, if these conditions are satisfied, then we would have
no objections for subject request to be granted. Of course, the
details and process is subject to Larry Davis' review and approval
as the Developer accomplishes what is required so that there is no
adverse burden placed on the City's field inspection operations,
etc.
