Riverview Estates Drainage - Additional Request (a.k.a. the, Johnny Thompson Tract)
Dear Mr. Griffin:
In response to your letter dated January 23, 1996 for the referenced project, and a coordination
meeting between yourself and the Dallas County Public Works Staff on January 25, 1996,
Sverdrup Civil has been requested to research the Eagle Point Village at Riverchase Drainage
Area Map (see attachments) for drainage requirements. A cursory review of this map and
Sverdrup's January 5, 1996 letter pertaining to "Drainage from Riverview E,s~t~" has determined
approximately l_~.l_ag,~s +/- zoned "SF-9" (residential) will contribute an additional 60 c.f.s. +/-
to the Sandy Lake Road storm sewer system draining t_o the west. Sverdrup will verify this by
hydrologic/hydraulic calculations and profile as soon as vossib'l~m order to incorporate into the
Sandy Lake Road Project with the apPropriate sized downstream drainage system.
Dallas County remains committed to proceeding with plan completion of the Sandy Lake Road
Project to avoid further impact to the overall schedule of the project. Should you have any

Per a coordination meeting between Kenneth M. Griffin, P.E., City Engineer for the City of
Coppell, and the Dallas County Public Work~ Staff on January 25, 1996 for the referenced
project, please research the Eagle Point Village at Riverchase 'Drainage Area Map (see

by hydrologic/hydraulic calculations and prof'fle as soon as oossible in order to incorporate into
the Sandy Lake Road Project with the appropriate s/zed downstream drainage system.
