RE: Coppell Intermediate School 1993 Additions
Dear Mr. Elmore:
The City of Coppell has received and reviewed the referenced plans and has the following
comments to offer:
1) In reference to sheet 2.1 the following remarks were made. A handicap ramp needs
to be provided for the handicap parking spaces circled in red on the plans. There is
some concern regarding the difficulty buses could have turning left into the school
driveway off of Mockingbird Lane. Review and make any necessary changes to
facilitate the bus turning radius (refer to plans).
2) On sheet 2.._, '~ show the outlet flowline elevations at the headwall for the 12" PVC
roof drain and 6" french drain.
3) Address the following remarks made on sheet 8.0 in regards to the installation of the
sanitary sewer:
· Will the sanitary sewer line tieing into the existing sanitary sewer manhole be a
private service line, i.e., belong to school or will the City be responsible. If the City
will be responsible, an easement will be required.
· Show the existing sanitary sewer trunk line extending from the existing sanitary sewer
manhole and the tie-in elevation for proposed service line.
· Provide a detail for the bench sawing required to install the sanitary sewer lines
proposed to be placed under existing parking lot.
There are various other minor comments throughout these plans. Once all comments have been
addressed, the revised set of plans should be resubmitted to the City for review. If you should
