On the above sample date, a representative of Fugro South observed the reinforcing steel placed at the following
location:
· Handicap parking south of band hall and north parking row east of band hall.
The steel was checked for proper size, grade, quantity, vertical location, horizontal spacing, correctness of
bends and splices, firmness and security of support and ties and clearances between reinforcement and forms.
The following discrepancies were noted and reported
· Area of north parking row on east side of band hall had several tie-in bars bent down due to what appeared
to be backhoe running over the existing paving.
The above discrepancies were corrected prior to concrete placement.
