Dear Mr. Griffin:
EBCC has reviewed the plans for the turn lane and median cross over at Heatherglen. We generally
agree with the quantities stated in your letter; however, we believe that the excavation quantity is
actually 150 CY to 200 CY and that the paving item is slightly larger than the quantity stated in your
letter. Additionally, we propose eliminating the lime stabilization of the subgrade and replacement of the
stabilization with cement treated base. Our lump sum price for construction of this work is $27,458.73
and includes the following elements of work:

Concrete pavement.
Two paver noses.
Remove and relay 250 LF of conduit.
Install jiggle bar tiles to deliniate turn lane in accordance with Coppell Standard Button Detail
Backfill and cleanup of the construction area.
EBCC requests an additional twelve (12) calendar days to complete this work. If you have any questions
