This construction will involve the addition of turn lanes at the intersection. The proposed improvements also include enhancements for the disabled, and utility and traffic signal adjustments. Additional right-of-way is needed to implement the project and may affect your property. These improvements are part of an area wide program intended to reduce congestion and help improve the region's air quality and mobility. Improvements for this location were submitted for consideration into the program by the City of Coppell. Design of the improvements is expected to be completed this year. The Texas Depaxtment of Transportation will be administering construction anticipated to start sometime in 1998 - 1999. Preliminary plans are available for public review until April 16, 1998.
