Jerry Parche, the architect work- ing with the road contractors, said the project had been weather- delayed, but was still within its 120- day contract for the initial paving and utilities work. He said the contrac- tors want to coordinate the final pav- ing of Parkway Boulevard with another project, the .paving of the east side of Denton Tap Road. Board President Judi Baggett told Parche she was concerned that if the contractors were not ready to pave the end of Denton Tap Road where Parkway Boulevard is in mid- August, the road wmild not be ready for use in late August when school }, begins.
