Subject: Dallas County Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality Improvement (CMAQ) Program
Revised Escrow Request for Right-of-Way - Project 10
Dear Mr. Griffin:
In response to an e-mail received by the CMAQ office May 30, 2000, the right-of-way escrow for the
project referenced above has been modified. The revised request shows acquisition of only one parcel at
the intersection of Denton Tap @ Bethel Road. The initial request required acquisition of two parcels.
Since the second parcel has been deeded to the City of Coppell, this property will not be purchased.
This right-of-way will be acquired in accordance with the CMAQ ILA between Dallas County and the
City of Coppell. The City of Coppell is responsible for 20% of the total cost plus the City's share of
TxDOT's direct costs, for intersections "Off' the TxDOT system.
In order for the right-of-way process to proceed as scheduled, we request that the City expedite payment
for the amount of $3,91.00 (20% of the total cost, plus the City's share of TxDOT's direct costs), to fund
the acquisition of the right-of-way. Please find the funding specifics on the attached spreadsheets.
The TxDOT administration costs include direct and indirect costs associated with both on and off-system
improvements. This is a calculated estimate and is subject to further review by TxDOT to determine if the
calculated estimate is sufficient to cover actual costs. If actual costs exceed the calculated estimate,
additional funds may be requested.
