A request was sent from Dallas County on 3/1/00 for $4,654. After reviewing the request, I noted that
Dallas County was now assigning a $5,000 acquisition cost to acquire a parcel that the City already had
prescriptive rights to. This was different than we had previously discussed and was different from the
8/26/98 letter which did not include any acquisition cost for the Baptist Foundation property. Because it
was included, we provided a Quit Claim Deed to the Baptist Foundation for the property in question. The
Quit Claim Deed has been executed by the Baptist Foundation and is in the process of being filed at the
County. A filed copy will be provided to you. Therefore, the acquisition cost for the Baptist Foundation
Property should be removed. My calculations indicate that the City's 20% share, including TxDOT's 5%,
should be $3,591. Please provide a revised statement so we can provide our share of the cost to acquire
the Alexander parcel.

According to our records, Dallas County sent a request for $4,654 for ROW
Escrow for CMAQ Project 10 on 1/1/00. We are making a report to the Public
Works Director this week and would like to have a date that we can receive
payment. If payment has been made, please E-mail the date it was transmitted.
Then send us a FAX at 214-741-1937 of your transmittal so we can track it
down.
