The Board of Adjustment heard and granted a variance request for the above referenced
property on July 5, 1990.
The request was for a variance from Section 14.3-1(b) of the City's Zoning Ordinance
regulating side yard setbacks. A 1.25 foot encroachment into the side building line was
approved unanimously by the Board.
I am attaching a copy of the minutes of that meeting for your infotmation~ By way of this
attachment, the City of Coppell Building Inspection Depamnent recogfizes these meeting
minutes to be a true and correct copy of the proceedings of that night and does not dispute
the facts presented herein. Furthermore, the city has no plans to require the house to be
moved based on the variance approval granted by this hearing.

MINUTES OF T~ BOARD OF ADJUST~.~T
JULY 5, 1990
The Board of Adjustment met in regular session on July 5, 1990, in
the City Council Chambers located at 255 Parkway. Blvd.
The following members were present= LannyMayo, Chairman
Carl Thompson, Vice Chairman
Charles Lambert, Commissioner
Arthur Kwast, Commissioner
Marry Walsh, Commissioner
Also present were= Dale Jackson, Chief Building Official
Chairman Mayo called the meeting to order.
Commissioner Thompson gave the invocation.
ITEM3:
Approval of the minutes from the May 3, 1990 meeting was the next
item. Commissioner Kwast made a motion to approve the minutes as
submitted. Commissioner Walsh seconded the motion. The motion
carried with a unanimous vote (5-0).
ITEM4:
Public hearing to consider request for variance from Section 14.3
i (b) of the City's Zoning Ordinance which concerns side yard
setback requirements. This variance is being requested by Fox and
Jacobs for the property located at 466 Harris.
Mr. Virgil Polk presented the request on the behalf of Fox and

too £ar to the
rear of the property. The three foot adjustment
caused one corner of the house to encroach approximately 1.25 feet
into the side building line. The encroachmen= was no= discovered
until =he week of closing. The property has closed pending city
approval of the variance.
ChairmanMayo opened the hearing for anyone to speak for or against
the variance request.
No one spoke for or against the variance request.
Chairman Mayo closed the public hearing.
After some discussion of the subject by the board, Commissioner
Walsh moved to approve the variance as requested. Commissioner
Kwast seconded the motion. The motion' was approved with an
unanimous vote (5-0).
