RE: Final Utility Walk Through for Heartz Rd. -
C.I.S.D. Elementary #8
The above referenced project had a walk-through on 8/30/94 and
the following items were found to be deficient:
1. Need to install locking hasp on fire vault.
2. Raise valve stack pad behind fire vault and pour pad.
3. Raise gate valve boxes behind both 2" water meters to
grade.
4. Station 1+21.31 - Manhole needs to have invert
reworked, pipe cut back, and concrete sealer applied to
seal inflow. This is poor invert construction and
should be looked at very carefully for stability.
5. Station 3+96.16 - Manhole needs to have invert
reworked, pipe cut back, and concrete sealer applied to
seal inflow. This is poor invert construction and
should be looked at very carefully for stability.
6. Station ~5+20.82 - Manhole needs to have invert
reworked, pipe cut back, and concrete sealer applied to
seal inflow. This is poor invert construction and
should be looked at very carefully for stability.
Please ensure these items are corrected within the next few
weeks. It is essential that these items be taken care of in a
suitable time frame.
