PARKS AND RECREATION
(x) 1. No comment.
( ) 2. The development is not within the service area of an
existing neighborhood park.
( ) 3. The Parks and Recreation Department remains
concerned about the amount of residential
development in the area with no resultant increase
in park land.
( ) 4. Dedication of land to the City for a neighborhood
park would protect the quality of life in the
community and increase the value of residential
property in the area. It is recommended that
acres be dedicated to the City of Coppell for a park
area.
( ) 5. It is often necessary to remove trees and other
plant material on the development site and thereby
deplete the natural resources of the local
envtornment. Consultation with a landscape
architect is recommended to plan and provide
landscaped areas which will contribute to the
ecological balance of the enviornment, provide
visual buffering, and enhance the beautification of
Coppell.
