Replacement of Brick Planter - Shadow Ridge Estates
We are in receipt of the memo requesting information and the
status of the above referenced project.
We have made provisions to have our landscape consultant prepare
a plan for the planter/landscaping in question should the city so
desire.
Some items which should be considered in making a decision are as
follows:
Design should be such that it does not interfere with sight
line standards as per the City of Coppell Subdivision
Ordinance regarding the "Intersection Visibility
Obstructions" (copy attached). Nothing should be placed
between 2 1/2 feet above the street grade within the
visibility triangle.
Due to the limited amount of parkway between right-of-way
and back of curb, any landscape improvements would have to
be placed on private property. City does not ordinarily
provide landscaping on private property.
