rain the areas will be checked to determine if additional layers of asphalt will
be needed.
Four cubic yards and two cubic yards of a cement and sand slurry were poured
into voids found beneath the pavement on Whispering Hills and on Plantation
respectively. Twenty-two and twenty-eight tons of hot mix asphalt were applied
to those locations respectively to fill the depressions to grade.
Total cost for both temporary repairs was $1365.50 (materials). Ninety-seven
manhours were used to make the repair and 17 manhours were used for clean-up.
I would also like to note special thanks to Don Conklin of the Water Department
who assisted at both locations.
