Dear Mr. Reid:
The City of Coppell has reviewed the referenced plans and has the following comments to offer:
1. Provide a copy of the existing plat for this site.
2. As per the conditions that were made with the approval of this site plan by the City Council,
additional right-of-way may be necessary for Sandy Lake Road. Based on the information
the City has received from the design engineer for the Sandy Lake Road Project, additional
right-of-way from this site will be necessary to reconstruct Sandy Lake Road. Please contact
me at 972/304-3679 so we can set up a meeting to discuss this issue. The request for
additional right-of-way could affect your approved site plan. Please Contact Gary Sieb at
972/304-3675 regarding the site plan issue.
3. Show the location of the existing 24" water line on the Paving & Grading Plan and Drainage
Plans.
4. The 6" lime stabilized subgrade should be applied at least 1' outside the limits of the concrete
paving (see Plate #3).
5. The proposed fire hydrant location must be approved by Travis Crump, Fire Marshal. He
can be reached at 972/304-3503. The location of the fire hydrant will determine if the 8"
D.C.D.C. valve and vault will be required.
There are additional other minor comments noted on the plans. When all comments have been
addressed, please return these marked plans and two sets of revised plans to the City for
