Whispering Hills, Plantation Temporary Repair
The Street Dept. is planning to address the temporary repair
of the two streets mentioned above. The roadway will require
undersealing before asphalt is applied to the surface. It is
not known at this time the extent of the void, which will be
a factor in the cost of undersealing. I recommend that we remove
a small section of pavement to view the condition of the subgrade.
The cost of undersealing will affect other proposed contracted
repairs mentioned in another memo; RE: Concrete/Drainage Repairs.
Attached is a requisition which will require three written price
quotes. The vendors will have to make on site analysis to make
an estimate. Other conditions to facilitate this repair are
weather and 910 being operational to haul asphalt.
