RE: Lee Elementary
I have been asked to research the question of no sidewalks in front of
Lee Elementary, located on Samuel Boulevard in Coppell.
At the time that Lee Elementary was constructed, Samuel Boulevard was an
existing asphalt road. As of this date, I have been unable to locate
the construction plans for Lee Elementary.
I have, however, located the as-built plans, which are on file in the
Department of Public Works, for Samuel Boulevard Improvements. These
plans were approved by Wayne Cinn, with no provision for sidewalks.
Ny only susEestion would be to have the Coppell Independent School
District assessed for sidewalks, or have the School District construct
the sidewalks to avoid any extra expense to the City when the wideninE
of Samuel Boulevard is completed.
If you have any further questions, please let me know.
