A paverr~nt section consisting of 7-i~ch of reinforced concrete pavement over S-inch of
compacted Subgrade can be used in lieu of a pavement sectio~ consisting of 6-inch of
reinforced concrete pavement on top of 6-inch of lime-stabil[zed subgrade. The compacted
subgrade should be prepared in accordance with the recommendations provided in the General
Site preparation and Subgrade Preparation Sections of our original geotechnicai report
(Fugro-South. Inc. Report No. 0791-1060, datecJ June 15, 1999).
