Dear Mike:
This letter is to document my April 17, 199i telephone conversation
with the City of Coppell's construction inspector, Mr. Larry Davis.
According to Mr. Davis, the final -changc ordar on °th'e above
referenced project could not be issued until all outstanding final
requirements are met. The requirements are as follows:
1)
A 12 month maintenance bond on utility installation at city
easement and right-of-way. Bond should be active from date
of final acceptance by the city for a duration of 1 year.
2) As-built of all Civil Drawings (1 sepia and 2 blueline
copies).
As you are aware, Spaw-Glass was only responsible for construction
of the utility lines within the private property limits to the
extent of the contract, and all pertinent as-built drawings have
been transmitted to SHWC to CISD for quite sometime.
We are under the assumption that the above requirements are the
responsibility of the Owner unless we are notified otherwise.
Please request the Owner to fulfill his requirement with the City
as expeditiously as possible. Our final payment is dependent on
Owner's action.
