Mr. Ken Griffin
City Engineer
City of Coppell
255 Parkway Boulevard
P. O. Box 478
Coppell, Texas 75019
Dear Mr. Griffin:
There is currently no ramp access from the street to the sidewalk along Flagstone Lane; the only ramps are
at the far north and south ends of the street. There is a ramp direc~y across from our house on the canal
bridge. As people ride or walk over the bridge and cross Flagstone, they must lift their bikes or strollers up
over the curb in order to reach the sidewalk. Anyone who was unable to lift a bike or stroller (or possibly
wheelchair) would have to ride in the street until they reached one of the ramps at either end of Flagstone.
It is my understanding that the City anticipates doing sidewalk and curb construction and modifications
during the current budget year. As the list of work to be submitted for bids is being compiled, would you
please include funds for a ramp in front of our property at 234 Hagstone Lane?
We would like to be included in the decision-making process concerning the style of the ramp, and of
course wish to be notified when construction is scheduled to begin. You may contact us at 304-4216.
Thank you for your assistance. Please call if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
Edwin and Janice Baldwin
