INTERLOCAL COOPERATION AGR!~ElVIENT
This Agreement is mad= by and between the City of Coppell, Texas ~ referred
to as "the City") end the CoppeAl Independent School District (b. ereiruffier referred to u "CISD").
VlriIF-REAS, the City of Coppell, Texas, a home rule municipality, hereinafrer cAdled
"City" and the Coppall Independent School District, hareinafier called "CISD" desire to enter into
an agreement whereby the CISD will reimburse the City its share of the costs of paving the
Coppell Middle School West parking lot and roadway facilities on Wnm~ler Road as a result of
an Interlocal Cooperation ASreemant entered into between the City of Coppeil and D~llas County
for such repain, set forth in Exhibit "A",
WHEREAS, Section 791 of the Texas Government Code, as mended, provides
authorization for local governments to enter into interlocal contracts; and
WH,:!tEAS, the City has entered into an agreement with Dallas County to leas~
equipment and obtah necessary materials from the County to reconstruct and pave the West
parking lot at the Coppell Middle School and the roadway facilities on Wrangler Road in the City
("Paving Project"). The City has agreed to directly pay Dallas County $6{P~i3~e~ for the
equipment, materials, and labor needad for the project_
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of ten ($10.00) dollgs end other valuable
considention, the receipt and sufficiency of which are hereby acknowledSad the City and CISD
agree as follows:

No amendment, modification or alteration of the f~rms h6~of shall be binding unless the
same be in writing, dated sub~xluent to the date of this Agreement and duly executed by the
partie,.
The obligations and undeaaldngs of each of the parties of this Agreement are and shall be
performed in Dallas County, Texas. The validity of the Agreement and any of its terms or
provisions, as well as the tights and duties of the parties, shall be Soremeal by the law of the State
of Texas and any venue for any action concerning this Agreement shall be in Dallas County,
Texas.
All parties represent that they have fadl capacity and authority to grant all rights and
assume all obligations tint they have 8ranted and assumed in this Agreement.
