RE: Taco Bell, Construction Plans
Dear Mr. Chen:
The City of Coppell has received and reviewed the referenced plans and has the following comments
to offer:
1. Show radius of all driveways on paving and drainage sheet.
2. Label the 5' concrete sidewalk shown on the paving and drainage sheet.
3. For the deceleration lane install Type I double reflective buttons at 30" center to center.
Also, install R3-5R sign at end of storage.
4. Indicate the storage length and tape length of deceleration lane.
5. The 5' sidewalk adjacent to Denton Tap Road to be constructed as per the City's standard
detail. Please provide this note.
6. You should consider tapping both the domestic and irrigation meters seperately to the 8"
water line.
7. Provide note that all joints in the right-of-way or easement to be silicone sealed. Also,
provide a redwood expansion joint 12" east of the brick pavers at the access drive on the
north side of the development.
8. Provide a note stating that the inlet located in proposed deceleration lane to be relocated as
a standard curb inlet.
9. Show the existing overhead power lines on the offsite 8" sanitary sewer and 8" water line
connection sheet. Provide a note stating "Caution Overhead Power Lines". Also, the
contractor needs to contact TU Electric prior to construction.
10. The access easement on the north side should drain to the west and not toward Denton Tap
Road to conform to the natural drainage patterns.
There are various other minor comments throughout the plans. Once these comments have been
addressed, the marked up plans along with two revised sets of plans should be resubmitted to the
City for review. If you should have any questions concerning these comments, please contact me
at 304-3681.
Sincerely
M~. Martin, E.I.T.
