Dear Mr. Cummings:
Duva! and Associates, Inc. was retained by your Client Mr. Jennings,
to perform a Subgrade Soils Profile Analysis at Summer Place Development.
These tests have been run in our laboratory, the results of which
are as follows:
The first 350' should be stabilized with 5% hydrated lime - from
Sandy Lake Road, north on Summer Place Drive and at Alleys A and B.
The balance of the project does not necessarily need lime under the paving,
however we fee! that in order to insure good construction, the incorporation
of 2% lime would be quite adequate for al! soils encountered.
These recommendations are made to you and to the City for their
approval, and it Js the intention of the contractor, if possible, to begin
construction on the subgrade preparation by Monday, Apr1! 21st.
