*Ed Bell Construction needs poles removed by TXl..J on the north side of the east/west portion of
Coppell Road.
There is a new TXU line running east/west on the north side of the Callejo property that crosses
Coppeil Road. This line is approximately 36" deep and dives deeper beneath the roadway.
*The 10" existing waterline was struck in efforts to install the new 12" waterline, across fi'om the
Mansions entrance. Field adjustments were made to realign the proposed main, and City crows
supplied a clamp to make repairs to the old line still in service. The City asics that Ed Bell lirafish
their maintenance crew with a replacement clamp and keep an emergency supl>ly li.n' such
unforsccn instances,
*Tree removal is in progress. Stump rclliova.1 is scheduled to start on the east/west portion on
Monday, 11-8. Fence relocation will also begin, soon. Relocation shoukt take approximately 3
days, per E.B .C. Ed Bell should contact Callejo to discuss the Fence relocation. If there is
negative response to the issue, E.B. shall call FNI, and further action will be dctcrmined.
*There is a tree ramoval quantity discrepancy at the Coppeli Road bend. FNI will invesljgate this
issue.
The Hwy 121 watcrlinc connection has not been made. Once this occurs, wmerline crossings will

associated with the waterl ine construction has ~en handled well. There have been no cilizen

*Ed Bell must contact TxDot prior to construction in their ROW. Ed Bell needs to have the Tx
pcrmit on hand during this construction.
There is an unex~cted RCP crossing Cop~ll Road at station 33+07. The City will discuss'rifts
issue with FNI to determine how to deal with this pipe dm'ing paving operations,. '
Traffic and phasing phm subn~tted on l 1-4. The council date tbr the review and apprdwfi all'this
plan is in December. FNI and the City will review this plan in the next week. C0ppcll
Construction is ready to ~gin culvert construction as soon as possible. The next council meeting
to consider road closure is December 14, 1999.
Ed Bell has talked to the owner of the trailer park property regarding the batch phmt k.~cation and
fill site. The City expressed concern over t.~s area ~ing used ~ks a fill site clue to the concrete and
voids sti 1l present in the ground. The site will have to be cle~med prior to use. The City w ill al low
the concrete to be ground to less than 6" in diameter and left cm site. 'l'he sanitary sewer presem
on the trailer park will have to be addressed. Tt~e owner will have to address issues concerning
~rec proteclion prior to land use. Overhead lines are supposed to be dead on the site.
'l"here seems to ~ mote sandy soils in this aea than originally anticipated. The current subgrade
design Ibr Coppell Road is aconcern to the City. FN! will work with Tetra Mar and Stantcch
determine if any changes to th~ design m'e required.
Work expedtcd in the next two weeks includes the trec removal, waterline, and possibly the 96"
