Re: Coppell Road Reconstruction
SH 121 to Sandy Lake Road
Coppell Project #: ST 98-01
Dear Mr. Young:
As you are aware, we have started limited construction of the water line on the referenced
project. Our utility subcontractor will complete the available portion of the water line prior to
resolution of the easement issue that prevented the timely start of the project and has continued to
hamper progress on the project. Upon completion of the available water line, our utility
subcontractor can continue to progress the project by diverting his efforts tO'the storm sewer. To
accomplish this task, we propose limiting use of Coppell Road to one way traffic traveling from
Sandy Lake Road to SH 121.
We intend to utilize standard channeling devices and TY III barricades to delineate the available
travel lane and utilize standard traffic signs to mark the roadway for the proposed traffic pattern.
Enclosed for your review are plan sheets modified to show the signage plan for the two ends of
the project and a typical cross street.
Please inform our office of your decision regarding this traffic plan. If you have any questions
regarding this information, don't hesitate to contact our office.
Sincerely, ~~.
