Issues:
*The tree marking task is complete with the exception of a couple of n'ees in the box culverl
vicinity. The City will meet with Ed Bell on 10/8 to furtherdiscuss the tree removal. The City
stressed the importance of marking 'all trees and noted several that were not marked. Mr. Pryor
agreed to mark all trees.
Mr. Pryor expects piping materials to be available by the middle of November.
During the next 30 days, Bell expects to remove the trees, relocate fences, and start on the box
culvert.
*The option for using precast box under the road was discussed, and it is the opinion of Coplx:ll
Construction that this method would not be beneficial. CopFell Construction will contact FNI
about their reasoning behind this evaluation.
*Mr. Pryor will provide the City and FNI with a traffic comrol plan by 10/12. IX was stressed
again that a significant lead time was needed to close the road liar construction purposes. The
letters requested of Bell in previous meetings will be sent to the City and FNI by early next week.
Mr. Collins requested that the tree removal begin after letters to the citizens have been sent out.
He anticipates 10/15 as the start date for tree removal.
*Project signs will need to be up before any significant work begins. The City will assist Bell in
determining the locations for the signs.

*The City requested that Bell inquire once more about the pipe availability. It was suggested that
even 1,500 LF for the east/west road portion would be helpful. It was also suggested that the
downstream portion of the box culvert and the ditch be started while waiting for the pipe and
council approval on traffic control.
There are legal issues between the City of Coppetl and the Callejo property on the west side of the
north/south portion of Coppell Road. A hearing and request for continuance will be held on 10/29.
Until further notification, no activity shall occur on the Callejo property. It was acknowledged by
all meeting participants that this should not hinder construction progress.
*Bell wishes to mulch the trees removed from the project area. Mr. Davis suggested thai. Mr.
Pryor notify Brad Reid to see if the mulch could be used by the Parks Department.
It was reiterated that according to TXU, electric and gas utilities are properly rel ocated, or not
affected by construction of this project.
