RE: Town Center Addition, Lot 3, Block 3 (First American Bank)
Construction Plan Review Comments
Dear Bruce:
The City of Coppell has reviewed the revised plans for the referenced addition. These plans
meet our current minimum standards with the exception of comments 1 and 2 below:
1. Your reply to the transition to the relocated low-point inlet was that a 5-foot tangent had been
provided. During actual construction, the inspector will require some type of transition along
the curb line to the Iow-point inlet. The revised plan did not appear to have been changed in
regard to the low-point inlet.
2. On Sheet 6.1, you are showing 6-inch concrete and 5-inch concrete without lime
stabilization. Please be advised that a written request must be made to this office prior to the
deletion of lime stabilization. The deletion of lime stabilization will require that the paving
be increased by 1" or the strength be increased to 4000 psi.
3. All required plans should be submitted to this office for official stamp of City Engineer. The
City of Coppell requires three sets for its use; your office should submit as many additional
sets as necessary for construction operations.
4. All fees should be paid prior to the beginning of construction. These fees consist of impact
and construction inspection fees to be paid to this office as requested in the Fee Assessment
Letter dated September 7, 2001.
Once these items have been addressed, you should schedule a conference with the construction
inspector. If you have any questions, please contact me at (972) 304-3686.
Sincerely,
Kenneth M. Griffin, P.E.
Director of Engineering & Public Works
