ISSLICS:
Bobby lnmon indicated that utility poles have been, or are presently being, relocated to avoid
construction.
Ed Bell wants to begin with the mulli-box culvert and the City concurs, if traffic issues can
be worked out.
Other utility contlicts include gas line relocation to eight ti:et below the exksting ditch grade
at the culvert location. Mr. lnmon contirmed that this has been done.
The City has TxDOT permits available in their office.
Kent Collins has begun marking trees along the cast-west portion li:>r removal. The City will
continue these e:l'ti~rts on Friday, 9/24 at 2:00 PM. Trees to be removed will be marked with
an orange "X". Letters to residents will be sent out by the City tt~ give them an opportunity
tO provide input regarding the marked trees. Once marked, Ed Bell needs two weeks lo
coordinate tree toppers lbr Lhe tree remowtl.
Survey col~trol. has been established. This should be finished on 9/22.
PVC supply is still the only material avaiability problem, according Io Ed Bell. *Bell will
provide the City with written information including 3 suppliers and their PVC availability.
*Bell will contact the Home Owners' Association to establish aID early relationship. There
are 4 to 5 HOA's, according to Mr. Collins.
Bell has had no contact with the property owners, but plans on placing tIDe batch plant on one
of the adjacent properties. Bell is aware that a TxDOT permit and city approval will be
needed ibr this activity.

Schedule Issues
10. *Regarding work pha~,;ing, the City needs specilics in writing ti'on~ Ed Bell perulining to
tra.llic flow and scheduling. Before road closures can occur, City internal efli~rts would need
to take place in the way of Council approval.
1 !. There are no changes to the project schedule.
12. Work expected in the next month includes tree marking and removal, fence relocations
property owner contacts by Ed Be!l, utility relocations, and box culvert constrttction, ff
approved by City.
13. Ed Bell and Coppell Construction wish to construct the box culvert, as soon ms possible. *Ed
Bell will establish in writing how this activity will occur.
14. Traffic is a large City and resident concern with this project. GTE, the apartment complex,
several subdivisions, sanitation trucks, school buses, and emergency vehicles use this road
regularly. Accessibility is a sensitive issue.
15. Traffic plans will have to be approved by City. Road closure will have to be appro ved by
council.. A major selling point will be ease and speed in construction,
16. *Bell will provide the City with traflc oplions for their review in a timely maner.
17. The City urges Bell to consider precast boxes across the roadway, to hasten construction.
Upcoming Calendar Events
18. Notice to proceed will be 9/22/99, and the official start date will be 1()/4/99.
