Dear Mr. Lemp:
Based on a walk-through performed on Thursday, August 30, 2001 at 8:00 a.m. for the
referenced project, the following deficiencies remain:
1. Adjust the existing sanitary sewer manhole at the southeast comer.
2. At Lot 33 the mainline valve needs an extension.
3. At Lot 38 the fire hydrant valve needs an extension.
4. The sanitary sewer in the middle of the block on the south side has concrete in the bottom.
5. At the inlet/junction box at the northeast comer, grout pipes and install plug on stub-out.
6. Plug stub-out from inlet on Line 'F'.
7. Clean, pour, invert and grout pipes in "Y' inlet at southeast comer.
8. Repair plug; clean debris from junction box on line 'A'.
9. Inlet on line 'B' holds water.
10. Replace broken inlet lid.
11. The 66' RCP has no plugs in lift holes that were checked from the line 'A', line 'B' junction
box.
12. I have received no compaction test results on the fill placed on the triple barrel 6'x 4' box.
13. I have received no compaction test results on the fill that was placed along the east slope in
the final stages of the project.
14. Verify the grades on the east slope.
15. Eliminate the ponding along the S/D outfall area.
16. Expose the 30" force main so that the support and suspected leaking can be checked.
17. Remove broken concrete near the golf course.
18. Replace guardrail at the end of Starleaf.
19. I have been advised that the inlet installed on MacArthur north of Colonial Dr. is pre-cast.
Pre-cast inlets are not approved for installation in public R-O-W.
20. Provide written confirmation from Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD of their satisfaction with
the condition of their property along the south side of your development.
21. Install proper signage and street markings on the left turn lane and crossover. If you have
any questions call City of Coppell Traffic Sign & Signal Dept. at 972-304-3550.
