C [-;.. · On May 16, 1985, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) issued a conditional Letter of Map -' Revision (LOMR) for the subject proposed project. ~At'that time, the tract was known as the "Lesley Tract,"~ and the technical data to support the reclamation was contained in a report entitled Engineering Report to. the Dallas County Commissioners Court for the Creation'of Dall~, County Levee Improvement District No. 18, and dated October, 1984. ~'- ' ~'~'' "'." In OctOber, 1985, the 'Texas Water Commission approved the Plan of Reclamation and subsequently the Northwest Dallas County Flood Control District was created. Construction (filling of the site and overflow 'swale 'construction) was to commence by October2, :1986, and be completed by October 2, 1988. The project was now known as the "Riverchase Project." ' ': In 1987, when the Fort Worth District Corps of Engineers revised the Flood Insurance Studies (FIS) for the Elm Fork of the Trinity River, construction of the proposed project was well under way, and the proposed ",'" t project was bc____~orated into the HEC-2_ model for the Elm ForJ~. Therefore, the revised FIS for the City of Coppell reflects the'?Riverchase Project." Enclosed is a copy of the Work Map used by the Corps in this restudy.
