The following is our understanding of the subject matter covered during the subject meeting.
If this differs from your understanding, please nottry as within five working days.
1. FNI asked to consider replacing the existing 10" water fine nmning under the proposed roadway
from Sandy Lake Road, north to the bend with a new 12" line. Reasons for replacement include
the inadequate size of the existing fine, the insufficient depth of the fine with respect to the proposed
roadway profile, and the age of the line. Plan sheets and budget forthis addition will be added, and
the additional work invc~lved will not affect the project completion date.
2. In-line water valves shall be placed every 500'.
3. Waterline stubs shall be placed across the road to serve future development.
4. Stub at SH 121 to be added to accommodate the city's master plan.
5. Sanitary sewer line to be replaced on the north side of Coppell. This additional work to be
performed in a separate package and will not affect this contract.
6. A tree planting sheet will be added to the plans.
7. TxDOT details to be provided, but city details shall only be referenced.

Right of Way sheet to be submitted ASAP for Ken to negotiate aquisitions.
Add a barricade at the Sandy Lake Road end of the bike trail. Type not determined, yet. Type

Driveway transitions should be 3/4" crushed gravel, no asphalt.
An eight-foot wide strip of brick pavers to be added along bike trail at street intersections.
FNI to detail construction of storm drain connection to subdivision storm system under wall.
FNI to extend median nose at Minyard.
FNI to add a special provision to contract documents to address Parks approval of the bike trail
alignment prior to construction.
A four-foot wide sidewalk will be contracted instead of the five-foot wide walk curren~y shown.
No sidewalk over inlets.
Need roll down curb ramps at Corporate and Westminister.
FNI needs to modify ramp geometry at Westminister.
City to look at coruer clips at Westminister and Minyard.
Construction easements needed at Minyard and where construction must occur outside of the
ROW.
Add construction joints at ROW and end all stamped concrete or brick pavers here.
Separate brick pavers for bike trail at each street in bid items.
FNI to check and correct, if necessary, the superelevation grades at bend.
FNI to check driveway at bend and profile.

FNI to provide pictures of the PR- 1 TxDOT guard rail for review by city.
No concrete strip for maintenance desired by the city under the guard railing.
No driveway leave-outs will be provided along the north side at the Stanton property due to the
uncertainty of development.
Plans will be submitted to utility franchises be Wednesday, January 20, 1999.
FNI to add a note to the contractor for lime mixing requirements at shallow inlet laterals.
FNI to check line B-1 for full depth inlet.
FNI to add erosion protection at north end of the existing 96" RCP culvert.
FNI to look further into the south culvert and channel to analyze flow constriction and cross-
sectional geometry.
General notes shall be checked against sample notes from past project provided by the city.
This project will be advertised for bids starting on February 5th. Multiple copies of final
construction plans, for construction, and contract documents must be submitted to the city by
February 8th, ready for pickup by contractors.
Incentive bonus for contractor to finish construction on time is being considered. Also, coustmction
time to be considered in award of bid.
