We have reviewed the memor~d~prep~ed by J~ Consulting Engineers outlining
the results of their Tr~fic I~act ~alysis of the Thompson East Addition on
Belt Line Road, Le~etter Drive intersection.
We offer no objections to the conc~sions and reco~endations presented.
However, the two vehicle ~eue estimated in the westbound right lane of Belt
Line Road during a dis~ption in the right turn mov~ent caused ~ a train
crossing, could ~ickl¥ turn into a ~ch longer ~eue with approx~ately 1,133
vehicles per hour traveling westbound in all three l~es. A free right turn
l~e with appropriate storage would he~ el~inate this probl~.
