Dear Mr. Thompson:
At your request, I have prepared a list of items that must be
completed in order for you to finish the work on the single family
dwelling that you have moved onto your p~operty described as Tract
3 of Abstract 1493. The items you must complete are:
1. Obtain a zoning change for the property from
Light Industrial to Residential -- or obtain
a variance to erect a residential dwelling on
a property that is zoned Light Industrial (it
may be possible to obtain a variance during the
plat approval process).
2. Seek and obtain plat approval of the property.
Contact Taryon Bowman at 462-0022 for
information concerning platting requirements.
3. Apply for a building permit after receiving
approval of the plat. You will need to supply
information concerning the portion of the
building foundation that was constructed
without a permit or any inspections. There
are several options available to resolve the
problem with the foundation.
Once you have received a building permit, you will be able to
complete the construction of the house.
