RE: Trinity Shores Flood Study
On April 6, 2001 a representative of Hobart Inc. provided a check in the amount of $3,000 for
cost associated with the revie~v of the floodstudy for Trinity Shores. On April 16th I received
revised floodplain proof maps, which show that the property in question is no longer
considered to be within a designated 100-year floodplain. Based on conversations with
representatives from FEMA, the City should be utilizing the best available information.
Therefore, I will not be requiring a floodstudy on the Trinity Shores development and as such
the $3,000 should be refunded.
With this memo I am providing a photocopy of the check and the receipt from the Ci~: of
