In our earlier letter to you, we indicated additional data might be required to complete our review of the request. The data required to complete our review, which must be submitted with/n 90 days of the date of this letter, are listed below. The floodplain and floodway models that were used as the base conditions models for your request differ from the effective models used at the Conditional Letter of Map Revision stage. We sent you copies of these effective models in April 1999. Please use the effective models as the bases for succeeding models in order to properly determine the changes in the elevations of the flood having a 1-percent chance of being equaled or exceeded in any given year (base flood). Bittner (703) 317-6292 For identification purposes, you must include the case number referenced above on all correspondence. If we do not receive the required data within 90 days, we will suspend our processing of your request.~ Any data submitted after 90 days will be treated as an original submittal and will be subject to all.~ submittal/payment procedures, including the flat review and processing fee for requests of this type established by the revised fee schedule that became effective on March 1, 1999. A copy of the notice sununarizing the revised fee schedule, which was published in the Federal Register, is enclosed for your information. If you are unable to meet the 90-day deadline for submittal of required items, and would like the Federal Emergency Management Agency to continue processing your request, you must request an extension of the deadline. This request must be submitted to our Technical Evaluation Contractor in writing and must provide (1) the reason why the data cannot be submitted within the requested timeframe, and (2) a new date for the submittal of the data. We receive a very large volume of requests and cannot maintain inactiye requests for an indefinite period of time. Therefore, the fees will be forfeited for any request for ~vhich neither the requested data nor a written extension request is received within 90 days.
