For sometime now I have been working with the Public Works Department on the appropriate
fees for Valley Ranch Baptist Church. We were originally provided a fee schedule on December
29th, 1993, which showed a 6" fire line meter and provided the appropriate fees. In April,
1994, a follow-up fee schedule was submitted showing that they should have had an 8" fire line
meter and pay the appropriate fees for that meter. After contacting Valley Ranch Baptist Church
concerning the discrepancy, I was informed that in actuality they did install a 6" meter. So I
contacted Public Works again to inquire about what was actually constructed and if they should
be paying for the 8" or the 6".
On August 23rd, 1994, I received a follow-up fee schedule from Public Works stating that they
had in fact put in a 6" meter; however, the fees are now different from the original December
fee schedule. When I asked Pu~_!~c Works about the discrepancy, I was informed that the
contract for the meters had chang~'(Fin early 1994 and when Valley Ranch Baptist Church paid
their fees they paid under the new contract. Therefore, it appears that we owe Valley Ranch
Baptist Church a refund in the amount of $193.27. This check should be mailed to:
