This letter is a follow-up to our meeting at the project site on August 31, 1999, with the
City of Coppell. You and your survey personnel took various measurements to verify
final quantities of work for several of the pay items. It is our understanding that copies
of this information will be provided to us for our review. As you are aware, the City of
Coppell is anxiously awaiting final completion and delivery of the project. With this in
mind, we would like to remind you of a few of the outstanding issues that still need to be
addressed, in an effort to help expedite your finalization of the project:
1. As Larry Davis mentioned to you at Tuesday's meeting, after you complete the
punch list items, please contact the appropriate city department for them to verify.
that the items have been satisfactorily addressed. (Copies of the punch lists are
incluaed for ,/our information and use).
2. The City noted that there are several areas where the grass and sod appear to be
dead. Please be aware that all seeded and/or sodded areas must have uniform
grass coverage (alive and growing) at the time of final acceptance of the project, in
order to satisfy the requirements for payment, per the contract documents.
3. Provide a copy of the concrete core breaks for the questionable pavement area on
the north side, near Belt Line Road (Sta. 35+50 to 49+50), to the City & Engineer.
d. Provide as-built information on 12-inch water line relocation to City and Engineer for
~ecorci drawings.
5. ,~ovide affidavit for bills paid to the City.
G. Frovide information related to the actual recessed distance for the curb inlets
constructed on the project.
7. :~rovide the City with information/documentation regarding problems ca ' "lity
conflicts.

We, along with the City, are currently in the process of verifying final measurements and
quantities for the project, based upon the information, which you will be providing, and
your latest Pay Estimate No. 15. It is our intent to let this latest pay estimate be the final
estimate for the project and, therefore, to reflect the agreed upon final quantities and
time charged to the project· Please advise as to when we can meet with you and the
City to discuss final quantities and project time calculations.
In the meantime, should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to give me a
call.
