Valley Ranch / Sidewalk
On Friday, January 26, 1990, Mr. Brent Littlefield with Western
Builders requested a sidewalk inspection for the portion along
MacArthur Boulevard.
After a field investigation of the sidewalk and steel placement,
a discrepancy in sidewalk width was noticed. Mr. Littlefield
indicated the 4' walk width indicated on the approved building
plans was the criteria used to establish sidewalk width.
After review of the City of Coppell Subdivision Ordinances by
myself and Shohre regarding sidewalk placement and construction,
it was determined that sidewalk along a divided arterial roadway
shall have a sidewalk width of no less than 5'.
Mr. Littlefield was notified of this information and requested to
contact the Engineer in charge of the Valley Ranch project in order
to correct the width discrepancy.
As of the above date, progress on width correction has not been %
completed.
