Pay Estimate No. 14 From Tiseo Paving Company
We have reviewed Pay Estimate No. 14 from Tiseo Paving Company for their work on the
Wrangler Drive project through 06/30/99. It appears that the work completed during the
current period (06/01/99 to 06/30/99) consisted primarily of concrete paving, concrete
driveways and concrete sidewalk improvements, along with the installation of pavement
markings. Based upon my observations and understanding of the status of Tiseo's work
on the project, I would offer the following comments for your consideration before
recommending approval of the subject pay estimate:
1. Pay_l_tem_~_o_,]l-l_l 6" P,_ejr)_f_or_ce_d_Concrete Driveway, Etc~
There was additional driveway quantity added for the driveway at Sta. 29+31.96 (the
old YMCA) which will over-run the proposal quantity, however, this additional work only
consisted of approximately 60 S.Y. This estimate reflects an over-run of 96 S.Y. The
extra 36 S.Y. should be verified prior to approval of this estimate,
2. Pay item No. 11-15 4" Reinforced COnCrete Sidewalk, Etc.
This estimate reflects an over-run of 104 S.F. This additional quantity should be
verified prior to apporval of this estimate. I am not aware of any reason why the
quantity should be higher than the original proposal quantity.
3. Pay Item Nos. !1-28, ~I-2.9_&.11-30 Traffic Buttons
This estimate reflects an slight over-run for each of these items. The additional
quantities should be verified prior to approval of this estimate.

4. Pay Item No. 2A ..T:v_p_e II BIB Markers
I am assuming that these am markers for the fire hydrants which apparently we did not
included in our original proposal. This item wilt need to be included in the final change
order alon9 with the item for the adjustment of existing sanitary sewer manholes.
