Dear Mr. Anderson:
The City of Coppell has received and reviewed the referenced plans and has the
following comments to offer:
1. Provide volume and page information on all off-site easements on the final plat.
2. Use of cement stabilization will require permission fi.om the City. Please send a letter
requesting permission to use cement stabilization to Mike Martin, Assistant City
Engineer.
3. The c-factors for the drainage areas need to be consistent by type of development.
Use 0.90 for all areas on the commercial/retail site and 0.70 for all areas on the school
site.
4. Show all proposed grades on the civil set of plans as they affect the drainage area
map.
5. Near the proposed grate inlet in the southwestern comer of the property, consider
using a maximum slope of4:1 to provide easier maintenance of the slope.
6. Show the proposed location of the stabilized construction entrance.
7. All fire hydrant locations and fire line layout need to be approved by the City Fire
Marshal, Travis Crump.
There are various other comments throughout the plans. Once these comments have been
addressed, these marked plans and two sets of revised plans should be submitted to the
City for review. If you have any questions concerning these comments, contact me at
(972) 304-7019.
Sincerely,
Kent M. Collins, P.E.
