Agenda: Sanitary Sewer Problem
1. Sanitary S. as designed by A. Halff would clear box
culvent by fourteen hundreths.
Adjustments made in the field caused the sewer to be
adjusted and Mobil tied in approx. 1'-0" too high.
Apparently concrete was in the way preventing
installation per plans.
Mobil has temporary Certificate of Occupancy from the
City because connection to TRA manhole has not been
completed.
Maybe fix Mobil manhole.
Contractors.
Mobil's Contractor: RKJ
~ssue: Service to adjacent developer (approx. 300')
Main concern of Dunning Development is to get
construction off dead center.
Go back to original design of .32% grade· Re~_~_~
altering TRA manh~e. Costs of improvement~l be
sp~ 50/50 b~n Northstead and Dgn~Development.
C~ Coppell will contact TRA and~o discuss
additional costs but developers will p~rovlde money of
front. ~~.

Agenda: Sanitary Sewer Problems
Discussion of Alternatives
a. Lay line up to box culvert and plug.
b. Punch line through culvert.
c. Flatten out grade of line.
d. Slope lines on each side of box culvert away from
the culvert - this is planned at a point 500' + to
the east of the box culvert already.
e. Extend line across Beltline.
Discussion on Alternate d
a. J. Hefner indicated the problem would be the
expectation of the present landholder to sell the
500' of property which he had assumed would have
sewer service without crossing Beltline. Capitol
expenditure would be much higher now to provide
sewer service.
Install new manhole adjacent to existing manhole east
of manhole. Steve Lemke to coordinate with TRA and Bud
Beene. Could run into same problems encountered by
Mobil with tying into TRA manhole. High flow could
create need for temporary bypass, Because of problem
with TRA tie-in, install two new manholes and TRA would
not need to be involved. One manhole would need to be
deeper and will be located over City of Coppell main.
Care should be taken during excavation to protect water
line extension.
