Mr. Bobby Harrell of Terra Companies and I had a phone
conversation this day in which he stated that the City approved
a landscape plan for the rehabilitation of a median affected
by the intersection construction and that no~ further mon~es
or materials will be financed by his firm. In addition to this,
he indicated that approval of the road project should not be
hampered by any effort to return landscape elements to a median
out~ide the scope of this firm's work for which they had no
control. He asked that should we desire to push for the return
of the plants removed, Triland's representative, Sunbelt Savings
be contacted.
is my recommendation that then project engineer Janet Vick
be contacted and she forward copies of any directive she gave
in wrY. ting or confirm in writing, verbal instruction to effect
~he removal of any plant materials. Sunbelt Savings will be
contacted with the understanding that they represent Triland
and investigate where the materials have. been relocated or furnish
like items to what previously existed on the median. These
are the two approaches I wish to pursue and should ~hey not
be feasible, additional direction be given me as to what might
be available to expedite the rehabilitation/return ~f plant
materials to the area.
