October 19, 2000 City of Coppell Larry Davis, Scott Maughn, Alan C-reef, Robert Weber, Gary Pryor The following is our understanding of the subject matter covered during the sttbject meeting. If this differs from your understanding, please notiJ~ us within five working days. P.02/03 em Utility poles on cast side of Coppell Rd, in the Mansion's drive vicinity are still of concern to EB and City. TXU nee& to be contacted and advised on the grades around the poles. GTE has lowered the lines at The Mansion's, and adjusted the manholes along Coppell Rd. GTE will need to come back out for final grade adjustments on the manholes. Box culvert and walls are completed, and the rip-rap should be finished soon. Box is totally funcdonal. Then are questions on where the fence along the west side of roadway near heMwall should go to keep the cattle out of the box culverts. It was agreed that the fence should follow the drainage easement if the wording of the easement allows that land to be fenced off. The handrail that is shown in the plans near the headwall is at the manufacturer now, per Robert. It is still planned to place the rail as close to the headwall as possible. Paving south of Parkway is in, and the bike trail will be started shortly. The bike trail will have 10' saw-cuts with 300' maximum construction joints per FNI. Cement stabilization is being completed from Parkway to The Mansions, and should be paving it the week of Oct. 9th. EB has placed crushed stone and rock for the drive into The Mansions. Sidewalk north of The Mansion' s drive is to be 4' wide, and the trees that are there are to be removed, and the utility pole are to remain. TXU needs to verify that the new grades around the poles will be sufficient. The bike trail should be poured and graded, but no striping or signage should be done by EB for now. Parks and Rec. needs to consider how the striping and signage will be handled and by who. There is a tree on the east side, near the box culvert that is in conflict with the design slope of the parkway area~ It is next to a grate inlet, and if area is graded properly, the tree will die. Kent Collins wanted W keep the tree, but the plans show it to be removed. Alan, Scott, Larry, and Gary went to site and evaluated the tree, and best solution is to remove the tree as shown on plans. Ken Griffin and Mike Martin need to verify and agree to this before EB proceeds. Larry requested a revised schedule from EB beforc the next mccting. END - FRF, BSE AND NICHOLS · 1701 N.
