Re: Construction Materials Testing Residential Building Pads Villages of Coppell, Phase IIIB Coppell, Texas Gentlemen: Submitted here are the results of testing and observation of construction materials at the referenced project. This report addresses activities for the period of October 1 through 9, 1992. on October 9, 1992, a sample of the imported fill material was obtained and returned to the laboratory for development of an optimum moisture-density relationship (Standard Proctor Curve). Test results are attached as Plate 1. During the period of October 1 through 9, 1992, a total of eight field density tests were taken on the fill placed in the residential building pads in Blocks B and C. Test results are shown on Plate 2. Where tested, materials were found to be in compliance with project specifications. Additional reports will be submitted as the work progresses. However, as this is the final layer of fill, and is relatively thin, it is our recommendation that this material be compacted. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to call.
